Leaves:
Medium dark shiny green folded in the bud leaf with very short tufted
hair-like ligule.
Flower:
Are clusters (Spikelets) at the end of short arms.
Stems:
Wiry, strong flattened
Roots:
Strong, deep, fibrous. Difficult to mow and remove by hand Control: Hand
weed at the first sign of weed. When the infestation is to large to practically
hand weed then chemical control is required. There are numerous chemicals available
to control this weed and they should be available at your local plant nursery.
